It’s super awesome to see how many people enjoy this project, and the related video content.
Cheers![/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”paypal.me/YTdoitwhenever” style=”3d” color=”primary” align=”center” css_animation=”bounceIn” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fpaypal.me%2Fytdoitwhenever|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row top_margin=”0″][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css_animation=”bounceInDown”]I’ll do my best to keep this section updated but like any other project, there will be changes and improvements. There is some missing information regarding fasteners and hardware. I’m still making the third video in this series about the assembly. If you have any questions about the build feel free to email me, hit me up on Instagram, but the best method is probably in the comment section on YouTube so more people have access to the answer.

The video covers most of the features and operation of the camera rig.I never expected this project too blow up like it did. I have made changes since this was released but I haven’t removed any features, I’ve just been improving them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNtC9EkYCYQ&ab_channel=DoItWhenever%3F” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”The greatest DIY MOTION CONTROL camera rig EVER – allegedly”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”pink”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]The next video in the series and covers the electronics I used, how they’re set up, and a few brief examples of how I control the robot. I’ll definitely be doing more videos on the topic of control and setup. It’s not complicated. In fact, it’s somewhat rudimentary which is not a bad thing. The skill level required to operate this is very minimal. There are a few limitations, but those limitations do not outweigh it’s capabilities and simplicity in its current form factor.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/kPe2O8CkQAY” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”The greatest DIY MOTION CONTROL camera rig EVER – Part 2″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”pink” css_animation=”bounceInLeft”][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]The third video in the series will be covering all of the assembly, including 3D printing the parts in various materials including PLA, PTGE, ABS, and Nylon.
Different materials have different properties and I chose certain materials for certain tasks based on those properties. After this video is released I will have a complete BOM “bill of materials” including all of the hardware and fasteners I used.
When I started working on this, I didn’t realize how many people would be interested in the project. I built this machine by the YOLO standard, and was not keeping track of fasteners or hardware. Although I live in the USA, I can tell you all the hardware is metric :)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”5741″ img_size=”500×300″ css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Assembly Video”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”BOM – Bill Of Materials” i_icon_fontawesome=”far fa-edit” color=”blue” style=”shadow” css_animation=”fadeIn” add_icon=”true”][/vc_column][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]
This list is not 100% complete. I’ll have a complete list once the assembly video is finished
